Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic

The Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model is reshaping how behavioral health services are provided across the nation, with an increased focus on integration, accessibility and convenience of care, outcomes-driven services, and cost-based reimbursement. BBS is committed to helping states and providers best position themselves amid this sea change so the model can reach its true potential and more people can have access to effective, convenient, comprehensive care.

BBS provides expert advice to states, provider associations, providers, payers, and other entities on how to design and advance a CCBHC model that addresses local needs. BBS has partnered with three states and numerous providers to implement the CCBHC model. We also serve as subject matter experts in the National Council for Mental Wellbeing’s CCBHC Success Center, shaping and elevating the model by authoring several CCBHC toolkits and resources, including the CCBHC: A Vision for the Future and the CCBHC Needs Assessment Toolkit.
